Earth's Great Rivers

Earth’s Great Rivers
Series 1: Amazon, Nile, Mississippi
Series 2: Zambezi, Danube, Yukon

Cannot recommend these 6 programmes highly enough, absolutely rivetting, and world class filming, really worth watching :heavy_check_mark:

My favourite is Zambezi!

Hi

My greatest is the Mekong, but then I am an angler.

I’ve seen and been on the Mekong in a few countries, unfortunately you are not allowed to travel it’s length.

I wonder why they didn’t include the world’s third longest navigable river .The Murray River has 2000km of navigable water. It is also part of Murray-Darling Basin which spans more than 1 million square kilometres, making up a 14 per cent of the total area of Australia.

Seems a strange omission.

Hi

International Travel is a No No for me now.

You have no need to go far here in the UK.

The Reabrook in Shrewsbury.

Less than a mile from the town centre, park in Asda Carpark and you watch otters and Kingfishers.

Two miles further up it is a short walk to see Salmon Spawning at the right time of the year.

At the Weir in the town you can see the Salomon leaping it whilst having a coffee for £2.
