Looking out my bedroom window a nice bike has been left propped against a block of garages 3 days later it is still there, then on the forth day my wife noticed a young lad arrive on his bike then got on the dumped bike road it around but the breaks did not work, then he put it back against the garage door and left, that night it has gone.
I do not know the outcome to this but what do you think?

No idea whatās going on there, sounds like someone has a lucrative business in the stolen bike āmarketā.
Almost certainly stolen by someone local as a āGet me homeā bike for free rather than a āGet me home for Freeā car thief.
someone might have dumped it there if the brakes donāt work. Our recycling tip is about 3 miles away and if you donāt have a car itās pretty much impossible to get there.
IMO the answer should come from a spokesperson

A stray bike would have been reported on the local community Facebook page in my area. Whether the bike gets back to its owner I donāt know but stray/escaped animals certainly do.
