That’s not really much of a recommendation, is it?
Farage is a shyster, and so are some of the Royals

I can well understand anyone refusing to drink with him, any decent human being would
But when he talked of “low grade” people he was talking about leaving UKIP and the peoplr associated with that organisation
Not the EU commissioners
Absolutely. But I think you give Farage et al too much credit
They do know better, and the difference between right and wrong
But they deliberately choose to ignore that knowledge and choose wrong out of self-interest and because it suits their malicious beliefs
@Maree , Have it your way ! You chew bones forever ??
Thanks, I will
Facts are facts and the Farage quote was about him speaking off UKIP members, not EU commissioners
So, if you or your friends and family were ever UKIP members, he might well have considered you “low grade”
Is it chewing if on bones to correct misinformation, then?
Here is my pyramid of importance starting at the top with me being the most important thing in my life. without me, I wouldn’t be able to look after and help people lower down the list.
Time forbade me to do as good a pyramid as Azz’s. Notice that Brexit does not appear on my list.
So, if Azz’s is a Pyramid of Hate, is yours a Pyramid of Love?
@Maree , Not guilty as charged Maree !
I now nothing of UKIP, It was before my time !
My opinions were formed from my impressions of UK on my return to
this sceptred isle !!
Well Donkey I don’t believe it was ever proven “Just hearsay “
Just a denial by Farage
Indeed he did say when questioned “ Of course I said some ridiculous things, not necessarily racist things. It depends how you define it.”
Pyramid of Hate
The Pyramid shows biased behaviors, growing in complexity from the bottom to the top. Although the behaviors at each level negatively impact individuals and groups, as one moves up the pyramid, the behaviors have more life-threatening consequences. Like a pyramid, the upper levels are supported by the lower levels. If people or institutions treat behaviors on the lower levels as being acceptable or “normal,” it results in the behaviors at the next level becoming more accepted. In response to the questions of the world community about where the hate of genocide comes from, the Pyramid of Hate demonstrates that the hate of genocide is built upon the acceptance of behaviors described in the lower levels of the pyramid.
If only life was that simple Azz.
It strikes me that the person who designed the pyramid of hate, was indeed full of hate themselves.

On 23 May, I heard the news from the night before of the bomb attack at Manchester Arena after a concert by Ariana Grande. That tragedy and the more recent London Bridge and Borough Market attacks were heartbreaking. Yet all this unrelenting...

Hi
I so disagree about the pyramid of hate,
I have been taught it many times, every time by people who have never been there and who pontificate from afar.
They miss out on the basics, which are because I can and I enjoy doing it.
This is an interesting pyramid.
How can we avoid that escalation?
Clearly it is created at the basis by ignorance and fear of the unknown and of differences and a lack of education
How to avoid that pyramid?
In my opinion not by name calling or shaming the guilty part which only make the matter worse.
The answer is , in my opinion, in education.
Acknowledging the fears, addressing them, educating, reassuring…
This is why we should have faith in the next generations to come and shoud take their education very seriously.
I have faith in the next generations.
