The best time to become a drop-out is when the gain isn’t worth the pain and there’s not much pleasure left 
That applies equally to gaffers and underlings, of course ……
You gotta be careful of noses, spite and faces, though 
And make sure there’s an alternative feasible preferable something to drop into! Fires and frying pans ….
That revolving door might not always be open if I drop out and regret it later ….
