Its okay in theory, but useless for the wheelchair passenger.

Not driverless, but they look nice: new London buses currently being put to the test in the suburbs.

I think it helps that they have very modern roads in their cities - there’s probably just as much tech on their roads as in the vehicles itself. So while I would generally not trust a computer to drive a car here in the UK, I might be more inclined to give one of those busses a go!

I can’t comment on social issues in China but the thought of boarding a driverless bus in my neck of the woods on a Friday night when the pubs turn out fills me with dread and horror!
