As fascinating as this all is, Google “land drain adaptor”, which will provide you with all you need to know about 3”/4” (or their metric equivalents) outlets for drainage channels.

Or, if you want to keep it even simpler, find the low spot in the tarmac, and use an auger to drill out a hole of 3 or 4 inches diameter, and fill with gravel.

That is of course, assuming there are not any cables or pipes buried under that dip.

Excellent idea - see my post way back at post 12.
In fact, if the problem is impermeable asphalt / tarmac then you just need to drill through that to the hardcore underneath. So not even a deep hole and not likely to hit anything hidden.
If you do that and water still sits in the same place then there is a bigger problem

lincolnshire i dont need two pipes going out. i just dont know yet if i can get 3 inch or 4 inch so i wanted ONE box that knocks out for both, not seperate SKUs. cementing around a smaller pipe sounds messy. still looking for what size box that is, with a metal grate the garbage truck wont crush. besoeker thats just the regular trash truck coming up the drive every week, i dont think the town is gonna recieve a call about my puddle lol

All of this dilemma is because you have not bought the drainage pipe - or even worked out where you might buy this pipe? You have not yet checked your local store or online store for what pipes are available in what sizes?
This thread will go on and on with this level of preparation, planning and decision making.

As I suggested in my previous post, adaptors will solve the issue as to what size outlet hole will be available on the channel model he gets. This is trivial!

When this work is actually done, perhaps in three of four years time, I really want to see photos of the before and after 
 and during the work. Its going to be like the worst ever episode of Grand Designs.
