Drainage box question

no man is an island, ha, just felt like saying that.

I suppose there are movies - I think there was one with Agatha Christie but this one was the modern version - The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express.

Not movies, both are real. My part in the newer one was the air conditioning - the old one wouldn’t have had that. And it was still called The Orient Express. And now I shall have a Scrumpy Jack after all that amazing information on the trains
)

besoeker wait both are real trains?? and you did the air conditioning on the fancy one?? thats way over my head. and theres that scrumpy jack again. still dont know if its cider or another secret code. saturday afternoon just poking the forum with a bag of chips

Yes, real trains and aircon was on the new one. They were sealed units underneath the train. The Scrunpy is a cider from Hereford, England. And I like a bag of chips with salt and vinegar!

1994 possibly sat on a bench, over looking the ferries departing for the isle of Wight, if it was a bus stop, that would have been the icing on the cake :smile:

besoeker hang on sealed units under the train?? like the air conditioning just lives down there?? and scrumpy is cider from hereford after all. salt and vinegar is the only chips worth openning. saturday late afternoon still poking the forum

It’s cooled from the surface air from the carriages - I may have a better picture of how it works. The Scrumpy - I like it but it is a matter of taste. My wife prefers white wine and we had that with the salmon last evening.

And all this time the puddle remains

Yes, we digress but often that’s the forums here do.

besoeker hang on surface air from the carriages?? so the cool just comes off the outside somehow?? a better picture would just lose me worse. scrumpy being taste makes sense. white wine with salmon sounds like a real meal. saturday evening still poking the forum with leftover chips

Many years ago when I was working in the travel industry, I travelled on the VSOE from London Victoria to Folkestone, for afternoon tea, free trip offered to our company. Great experience, delicious tea, scones, cucumber sandwiches and more. :smiley:

I’m tickled pink.

What a waste of leftover chips.

Indeed!:+1:
Ferry watching can be most therapeutic - Guernsey is good for that sort of thing, nice bus stops too!
