Dr who should be Dr what

Just thought I’d regress back to my younger days and have a look at Dr Who. Probably me but it made about as much sense as playing chess on a board with only black squares. Needless to say off it went. :man_shrugging:t2:

It would be Dr Do Little for me.

Unless you’ve watched it from the beginning, it will make little sense to you

So basically, Tezza, you’ve created a thread to say you don’t like Dr. Who?

I could fill the forum with threads about TV programmes I didn’t like. :slightly_smiling_face:

Well that’s me told off for daring to try and engage any members in a conversation about a TV program. Thanks for that. :+1:

Well I’m the only one you have engaged, Tezza, so at least give me a bit of credit for that. :slightly_smiling_face:

I used to like Dr. Who when I was a kid, but I have to admit that it was complete rubbish. I always preferred the first Dr. Who; William Hartnell.

Makes you wonder that when the present incumbent’s tenure is up and the character changes again, whether the next one will be black transgender, non-binary and lesbian to fit in with the BBC’s inclusivity agenda.

And what have you got against black, transgender, non-binary and lesbian time lords, Judd? :102:

Hi

Her last series is now on episode 3, and I thought the first two episodes were great, very much old school Dr Who.

Not so sure about the latest episode.

I liked all the Dr’s up to and including Tom Baker.Of the latest Matt Smith was good…Since Chibnall has been in charge I’ve lost interest.

Dr Who was really good when it began. It was something new and completely different - and scary! Even the original opening sequence/music was scary. From what I have seen recently it has gone right down silly street and couldn’t scare the skin off a rice pudding.

My three favourite Drs were William Hartnell (the best), Jon Pertwee, and Tom Baker. David Tennent wasn’t too bad, I suppose, but the rest are totally forgettable.

I gave up watching it a long time ago and I now refer to it as Dr T Wat!

Never got on with the Doctor, more a Star Trek fan…

You’ve just upset the alienists by omitting them, Judd.

Didn’t you know Tezza, chess is racist “because WHITE always starts first”.

It will be Dr “They” soon.

Dr who was better when Russell T Davis was doing the story lines. Now the BBC is getting him back and they shouldn’t have had a female Dr.
My favourite Dr was David Tennant.

These are my favourites…I can’t remember the rest…I did think Matt Smith was trying to copy David Tennent though, in his humour and mannerisms. He couldn’t pull it off though. DT is a one off.

Mine as well, I love David.

David certainly was a one off. Not watched it consistantly since he left.
Though I have seen some of Jodi’s Doctor.

For me Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker were the better ones I recall, now was that because I watched more or Dr Who then

Did anyone suffer nightmares watching Dr Who ? Did you check the cupboards, under the bed…were steps in place to ward off a Dalek invasion.
