The one who seems to be the “Go To” person if something needs doing.
There is this one fellow here who is at least 65 years old. He does the goal umpiring for his local Football club.
He fills in when the Baseball club needs him. He Umpires the Baseball. He sets up the boundary ropes. he helps out in the kitchen and Bar.
Seems he will do what ever is required on the day.
Someone you can rely on. Good to know people like this in my opinion.

I’ve never been a member of any club but I would imagine most places have people like that.
