Do your state's schools still grade students A - F?

One school here in Western Australia has decided to do away with that system.
Now it will be,
Achieved
Partially Achieved
Not Achieved
So no more “A” Students
So no more “F” Students

I don’t keep up with schools anymore, but long ago, there were schools that went to that kind of pass/fail system. The school became non-competitive because there was no way to rank the students.
