I quite agree with you, Maree…I do my own, too.
I thought my feet were one of my better features…taken last year after a trek…resting on the couch.
I don’t mind doing my nails at all.

But do find peeling toe nails. Is easier after a swim softening up.

I can still reach them so I do my own. They aren’t in very good condition though. The big toe nails seem to get thicker as I pile on the years.

I have a pedicure roughly every 2 months. Footbath, trim toenails, push back cuticles, file nails, remove hard skin. Lotioned and massaged. Feet put into little hot boots. I have probably got that in the wrong order! :face_with_hand_over_mouth:She will also paint them but I only have that done in summer.

They feel wonderful after all that.

I visit my podiatrist every six weeks and she cuts and files down my nails, removes all my hard skin, sorts out any corns I may have and massages lotion into my feet.

For several days after it’s like walking on air. Not cheap at £35 but worth every penny

@LotsaLace I’ve just test driven a new pedicure footrest from Amazon and found it to be just what I needed. This is SO much better than anything else I’ve seen so I decided to have one delivered and I’m not disappointed. For £12.99 delivered to my door it’s solved an access problem for me AND it’s ideal for me to use when tending to Mrs LD’s tootsies :+1:
