I love to get a bargain, this morning in a local charity warehouse they were selling unworn designer clothes I bagged a pair of trousers, 2 tops, and also found two brand new Pyrex dishes and five books all for the sum of 17.00 !
It has been converted and actually works, it’d be useless for calls where you’d be required to dial options, that simply doesn’t work. I’m sure Bruce and Realspeed would have an understanding of the technology.
This tells me that it was manufactured in 1979 and was from batch number 2
It sits on a small red plastic Habitat 70s style pedestal table, looks terrific!
It is for decoration Dachs yes, a bit of a conversation piece for some people. I have rung it from my mobile in the past so that they could hear the bells…real ones, not digital!
I have a couple more d00d, one in black and the other in white. They were from Argos of all places, sold under The Habitat label. I could do with one or two more although I’m not sure that they’re still available.
I feel a Google coming on…
Who would not love a bargain as long as you can be sure it is one. More often than not you don’t know what makes it a bargain since there’s no reliable information about former prices.
Sadly it seems that Argos do not have stores in Germany Dachs, I’ve just had a look. Some of their Habitat tables and furniture look really nice, I’m pleasantly surprised. Whether or not they’re a bargain is a matter of opinion I suppose.
No problem for me spending £140 worth of vouchers in Tesco!
A weekly trolley shop would cost that much these days, if not more.
Twelve packs of socks would do it, or kitchen equipment, bedding, or electrical items etc.,
