Do you like getting glammed up for a night out?

This is me a couple of years ago I remember we were going to a wedding evening do I wore red shoes and have a red clutch bag… sorry I have my specs on my head I know some folks here hate that. I still have the outfit but I think the dress has shrunk a bit… can’t be me who expanded a bit during lock down

I’m much the same as Meg said. It’s years since I got ‘glammed up’.
I don’t go anywhere that needs it. I’m not a night-lifey type person and haven’t been to a wedding or any occasion like that for donkeys years.

It’s probably become habit after a life time around different animals, most do not like perfume for a start.
The good thing about animals is they don’t change their mind about you according to what you wear.

I’m sorry if it looked like I was hounding you for a glamour shot of yourself. I realise now why you are reluctant to post one.

I’ve seen it said on another thread that your avatar picture is over 10 years old & I realise your looks may have gone downhill a bit since then.

it doesn’t have to be a recent picture though Pauline - it can be any from the past.

Even glammed up to the Max I still look scary.

When I was with Jan, we where walking home in the early hours in Stoke when a bunch of lads crossed the road to be in front of us.

Jan was very worried initially then they went round us.

Jesus Christ, you are scary, I was convinced we were going to get mugged.

That is what I get paid for

I know my place in life

Last Saturday we got asked to another dinner party. It was a total surprise but I did get somewhat dressed up. In fact I bought a new outfit and added a streak of blue to my hair.
Flat sandals or I’m far too tall.

No pics though.
