I watched this movie last night. Loved it.
An elderly lady, married to a bit of a tyrant husband finally has had enough.
She leaves him and reignites her passion for dress making.
A touching and moving movie. Both sad and happy tears welled a few times.
Cliff Richard is quite well known in the UK
Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra are very well known everywhere.
And someone called Elvis.
Elvis Presley.
A better singer than actor imo.
Steffi Gemanotta aka Lady Gaga seems to me to have made a fair go of both, and for left hander, she has exceeded my expectations👍
I love her voice, she’s one in a million. Love those songs in 'A star is born".

What about Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello in those Beach Blanket Bingo movies of the 60s?
Or maybe Connie Francis in Where The Boys Are
Barbra Streisand
Barbra Streisand really hits the spot for me and being a Jewess, she really knows how to get the emphasis right when singing in Hebrew. Rather than me having to type out her words in English, I have found a video with English lyrics embedded within it.
Mary Poppins aka Julie Andrews.
Adam Faith.60’s heart throb starred in a popular TV series.“Budgie”

… and her role as Barbara Peg in To Sir with Love.
Elvis was my first thought, but back in the day it was common for successful pop stars to make a film.
