Specifying your question, I understand that we aren’t talking about a(ny) partner but about the partner, aka Mr or Ms Right. It wasn’t hard to find a partner and it wasn’t hard to find the partner that you thought you could go through life together with. I wasn’t actively looking for anyone for a long time and didn’t get desperate. I just knew there’d be ample opportunities. And then it happened rather quickly and I couldn’t resist her.
