I’ve been trying to do more breathing exercises lately. I’ve been doing breathing 4-7-8, which is breathing in for 4 counts, hold for 7 and breathing out for 8 counts. I’ve been doing that one for years. I want to try more patterns and techniques.
I found this breathing app that works in a browser. The breathing pattern can be adjusted. I like the graphic on it.

I read somewhere where it said you should get mildly out of breath doing something everyday.
I jog while out walking until I have to walk gasping for breath. I don’t have to run that far these days. Back in the day, I would sing my heart out, I worked in a noisy engineering factory so nobody bothered, but I swear it benefitted my running with the breath control and lung exercise. If there are any singers on the forum, I bet they would testify to the benefits of singing.
