Apparently there are about 40 countries now offering extended visas to workers who work from “home” on a permanent basis.
Certainly working from home is going gang busters in Australia and forcing house prices up in regional towns as people leave the major cities. This scheme means that you don’t have to be in the same country but can be employed in Sydney but live for up to two years on an extended visa for up to two years in, for example, Bali, Spain or Bermuda.
Sounds like a wonderful opportunity to me.
