Danny how much did that amazing lens set you back?

Lenses seem to have shot up in price lately. I wanted to do the opposite with my Nikon - macro photography. Seems a very pricy idea though.

Amazon offers it for $1,250.00, but after taxes and all it came to $1,500.00. Dollars not pounds.

I will say my only problem with it has been that it’s slightly slow on AF, but it just takes getting used to.

That’s a lot of dosh.

Nice gear Danny, but not for me. I’ve gone from (what we call) Nikon crop sensor to M43, a lot smaller and lighter. I’ve also got into wide primes, not because they are smaller and lighter necessarily, just the different result.

In your case Chillie6…your wallet contents are zilch apparently…

I do need to buy another camera…I had a lightweight basic camera, mainly for the internet use. I have been using my Husband Dinage Z5 for a few years but it is pretty basic. We have never really been keen photographers, although always enjoyed looking at photos…the memories…more so of late…
So I can afford a few hundred pounds worth of gear…that is it though…no extra noughts whatsoever…ideas?
would be all kinds of photos, close ups and some distance ones as well.#
I do often snap away in the car whilst Husband drives, moaning he gets to see nothing!

A Nikon D3500 will set you back about $500.00, but then you have to buy lenses. I would suggest a point and shoot like Canon PowerShot SX530 HS more inexpensive, but still great results.

Danny took great interest in that model and found most places are out of stock…just seen this but it is cheaper…

I have purchased from Ulbaldi before, so that will be simple to order one…
maybe without the sd card…so that would jump it up +56 euros
case 28 euros,gosh…still a good price though Danny…

If the camera and the other stuff is what you want then buy it . 11 euros is not a lot what does the reader do, does it hold the sd card so you can put it in a computer?

I do not have much of an idea …understand readers…they read…Chillie6 but I have just paid and purchased it…funds from the leftovers, dregs of my Mothers Will…my sister is treating herself from the dregs as well…oldest Son is now moneywise a Millionaire…like he is ever going to be happy with what he done to get it all…

Most camera’s come with a cord that will hook up to your PC, so a card reader is up to you. I use one only because it is faster.

ok but I had to make a decision, not really thinking so straight for people upsetting me on here…sorry about that…what the heckers…
anyway have ordered it without the card reader…got the other accessories and pleased with the purchase knowing you know so much…thanks Danny…
