Did Your Hangover Overhang the Morning After?

OK, Folks, I overdid it, a bit, on Christmas Day.

Maybe just a modest bottle of Red, plus, a couple of Beers, followed by a few tots of Pusser’s Rum.

Nothing much!

No headache, in the morning, but a sort of dull semi lit brain!

How did you go on?

Tee Totalers will not have this problem!

Please do not crow about that!

I had a bottle of savignon blanc and one small vodka, no hangover but feel tired, glad no work.

Pussers rum is high alcohol if I remember something like 40% I got drunk on it once while playing darts . As long as you enjoyed your tipple that’s all.that matters .

Hi Susan,

Just checked the bottle and it says 54.5%.

Must be slightly higher than the normal rum tot.

Still, they did ship Nelson’s Body home in it, so mine should come out all right.

I guess not liking the taste of alcohol has it’s benefits!
May all of your hangovers melt away.

Well, my son made us some interesting cocktails called Dark and Stormy, not sure what was in it, but they packed a punch! Prosecco with dinner, a Jacky D and coke when we got home and Baileys with a slice of Christmas cake before bed!
So, I mixed them and did feel a bit rough when I woke up but I did my hangover cure, coffee, walk in the fresh air, couple of paracetamols and a fizzy vit C in water, then bacon and eggs! Felt like a million dollars! :innocent:

Or they tried to ship his body back in Rum. Or Nelsons Blood as it became known. But the seamen drained a quantity of the Rum off & drank it.

It would have been a shame to waste it…!

Haven’t had alcohol for a long time,I do remember the hangovers were getting worse.
This Xmas we had 100%guaranteed organic sparkling apple juice. If you closed your eyes it was like drinking champagne.

Can’t remember when I last had a hangover.
I can enjoy a glass of wine without wanting more, and more, and . . . more

It’s been quite a few years since I’ve had a hangover also.
I still enjoy my beer and wine though.
I listen to what my body tells me. Christmas it let me have some lovely imported beers while cooking, and then wine during the eating!

My days of having to cling tightly on to a spinning bed are over. I haven’t had a hangover for decades.

I had half dozen stubbies on Christmas Eve. Perhaps a dozen on Christmas Day but they were spread over the whole day as it was reasonably warm. I had the first at 9am after breakfast and the exhausting process of the grandkids opening their presents

This Christmas at my sons house I didnt have a drop. Maybe I should have, as I was anxious all day and night. Even when I went home, I couldn’t settle. I was just so worried being with family.

Yes, I remember parties where people used to stick all sorts up their noses.

Now it’s a spatula!

Caught a few doing covid tests, in front of the irror - changing times!o

You must have gone to some very strange parties with some people with very large noses if they stuck Allsorts up them. I didn’t like sticking them in my mouth that much, not a favourite lollie.
