Probably one of the last and best programmes to feature actual live music. Never watched it regularly, usually when there was someone I specifically wanted to see perform.
I shudder to think what The Tube would be like if it were on today, as live bands performing with genuine talent are becoming a thing of the past. I guess today it would be nothing more than some spotty kid with a laptop on stage pushing buttons.

I believe so, but I don’t think its on regularly. The only time I watch Jools is on New Year’s Eve with his “Hootmany” (or some such spelling)
