I would be so hung over that I could not drink for a couple days then the Tremens would start. Not pleasant
What happens? Whenever I drunk too much I’d fall asleep.
Mostly with me it was uncontrolled shaking of the hands. Profuse sweating and anxiety and a racing heart.
Simply I was in a poor state.
Do you abstain from alcohol now or are you able to moderate your intake?
I have not drunk alcohol for 21 years now. Not prepared to drink again.
The only bad experience I have had when drinking was the need to hang on to the bed while it spun at high speed.

I have never experienced anything like that.
My teenage years into 20’s were somewhat on the semi sober side because of my band. I needed to be totally compos mentis to run the band, so becoming pi$$ed was a no no.

I remember sitting at the bar with the first beer, hand shaking so much the beer would be spilt.
I have not had a drink since the last one.
