If the court ruling on Citizens United could be legislated out of relevance, that could have a major positive effect on the campaign system. Right now, corporations are considered ‘persons’ in terms of campaign funding, so a corporation can donate to campaigns, making the funding for campaigns unfair.
This doesn’t have much of a chance of going anywhere, but it’s still stepping in the right direction.
