Okay …
… where’s our chef?
Was it tasty?
Ooooo, I can’t wait,

you could make orange segment ravioli by wrapping individually with puff pastry and then boiling, served with a cointreau “jus”
Oh Annie, I couldn’t help giggling. ![]()
What a combination!
Imagine boiling puff pastry! ![]()
I have tried it before (not with chocolate but to make dumplings).
I don’t like the taste of most chocolate bars
these days including Mars so am never tempted.
which is good for me,I suppose.
My profound apologies Morticia!
The chef found himself involved in some unanticipated college matters yesterday. This meant putting the chocy delights on the back burner so to speak.
The kitchen will reopen this evening.
Abandon all hope!

Sorry d00d I’ve only just seen your picture, good Idea! ![]()

You could stuff your chillies with chocolate bar goo.
I’ll be setting up my own restaurant at this rate! ![]()
I think I shall call it House of Goo
My Hammersmith eatery shall be named Maison Goo of course…
One step at a time.
Voilà!
How tis done…
Prepped up the goodies, egg glaze and a habenero chilli .
Puff pastry…
Into the oven we go…
And out we come…
Yummy! ![]()
This shouldn’t really work but it does, it really does!
I imagine a Mars bar would be considerably more gooey if that’s more to your taste. The Snickers was quite robust and kept it’s shape even though very hot!
I followed d00d’s excellent suggestion and used chilli for that extra special something ![]()
I guess you could use herbs and seasoning of all varieties depending on taste and the type of chocolate used.
Right!
Who’s turn next? ![]()
Chilli & Chocolate, good combo.
… proper fried mars bar like only the Scots know how.
Try coo candy !!
Hmm … I’m still unsure but it looks very nice …sort of.
Very well done. Surprises me that the bar never fully melted and become like a runny sauce.
Certainly looked a gooey treat … Wonder if its nice with ice cream?
It probably would have eventually Bret but by then the pastry would have been burned to a crisp.
I’m still tempted to try a Milky Way … wonder what a minty Aero would be like.
Congrats Chilli, you did it! I must say, looks really tasty!
