Cryptic Films

Not correct but you are getting there.

Struggling with this one Devo but I’ll have another go with “Monster”.

You are moving away from the answer. Look where I live and that should be clue enough for the rest of the answer.
This is a fun film from the early 90s that spawned at least two inferior sequels. The cast includes a country music megastar in an amusing role.

Tremors?

Yes! Well done

Last time I was in Devon was at Mortehoe around 3 years ago - not many tors there but I guess you must be nearer Dartmoor.

In the spirit of recycling the next film has already been done but I had this clue ready and then realised the one I was trying to solve was the same film. Hopefully you’ll all have forgotten it.

Choose to march in :027:

  • At own risk.

There can’t be many films that have two cast members who are better known as directors, having won Best Director Oscars…

Would that be Chinatown (John Huston & Roman Polanski)

Well done Arena :023: You saw past my confusing layout. It would have been easier if I’d said:

Choose to march in at own risk…

Over to you…

I am a huge Huston fan ( for a superb read get his auto-biography)

An Open Book by John Huston

Folds back in a haystack

Think this might need a clue Arena…

You have an advantage on this one Amac being Scottish.

I’m afraid that’s not much help, Arena - how about a clue?

A breed of domestic pet…

a variety of scottish feline

Is it the Bond film that Sean Connery made that never got released - Joctopussy?

Alternatively could it be Cats?

Simple as that Amac.

Folds =variety of cats

back in haystack

I did have a cat almost 60 years ago now but I must admit I’ve never heard of the Scottish Fold or even seen one until this clue…

Next clue:

Old lady in a trip to the river.
