Not sure if I can help with the clue to the film Swannie but it would help if you knew the name of the singer mentioned.
Cherie had a most enjoyable lunch with brother and SIL. During the afternoon we were visited by a pair of these lovely birds. SIL tried feeding them while my brother got angry as he believes you dont feed our native birds. A very amusing situation evolved.

I’m glad that the lunch with your brother and his wife went well. The birds are absolutely beautiful Swannie, we do see some colourful birds in the UK but not as stunningly beautiful as this pair of Lorikeets!

It’s called ‘Ricki and the Flash’. I saw this film about 4 weeks ago. Meryl Streep stars opposite her real-life daughter Mamie Gummer, who plays her fictional daughter; Rick Springfield, Australian guitarist, singer and actor who takes on the role of the lead guitarist Flash member in love with Ricki, and Kevin Kline, who portrays Ricki’s ex husband…I love this film and I love Rick Springfield who I saw in concert at the Hammersmith Odeon in about 1985, he was awesome and drop-dead gorgeous https://www.animatedimages.org/data/media/311/animated-love-smiley-image-0396.gif
