It is Chin-a-town

Your go Amac.

I suggest you have a look at online encyclopaedia Brittanica which describes it as a burgh and city but onwards and upwards.

Neckwear expert.

Scarface

14 minutes - might be a record Devo :038:

The band only want a pot of tea and four mugs, nothing else.

Looks like we need a supp clue.

Quartet?

This is another say what you see. The film is very famous, a seminal film of the Sixties.

The film itself woudl probably be seen as a bit of a period piece if viewed now but the soundtrack is still as brilliant as it was back then.

The film led to the first of twelve oscar nominations for a then not very well known actor who became a major star after his performance. He has since won three Oscars.

If it’s Jack Nicholson and either Easy Rider or Five Easy Pieces I don’t get the clue…

it is Easy Rider - a rider is the list of requirements an artiste’s people send on to a venue in advance. It is usually a long and convoluted thing (see www.thesmokinggun.com for many amusing examples) so merely asking for a pot of tea for the band would be an easy rider.

Nor me???

Give us a clue Amac

Next clue:

Stop by famous gate - there’s no point.

Don’t go near the water?

No, sorry Arena. You could reach this gate by crossing one land border.

Let Me In

Not that, Devo. This late sixties British film had one success and several nominations at the Oscars.
