So, any of you crochet?

If so, I think I’ve found your next project, it won’t take long

Last time I used my crochets and wool was 1989-1990. I did a baker’s dozen of baby covers for their beds: 3 blues; 3 pinks; 3 yellows and 3 whites. My best item was the Christening Cape in shell motif.

In 1996, a neighbour gave me leftover wool in grey, cream and blue. I made a king-size bed cover.

Daughter got shown how to crochet, she loves it but she learned knitting with a magazine series I got her a while back. I’ve problems with tension in knitting so, I usually end up with bent needles lol!

I’m happy that the skills will be passed on down the generations. PS tried the knitting machine in the 80s, it was fun during the course but the equipment was out of my comfort zone :upside_down_face:

Very impressive.Let’s hope the young woman has time to eat something now :grinning:

I wonder what she used for a crochet hook. Those loops are massive.

Have you ever seen this lady’s crochet …. Amazing! I have been following her for several years. personally it would bore me to tears crocheting in the same colour all the time but she must love it.
