Glamorgan will begin their outdoor preparations for the 2024 County season by taking on Cardiff UCCE in a warm-up game this Sunday, 31st March.
This friendly will be open to the public, with entry being free for all three days of the fixture. The game will see the live stream be tested, however, the game will not be live streamed for all three days.
Grant Bradburn’s men will take to the field for the first time, with the weather curtailing plans for a second warm-up fixture, and the ability to net outside. The game will provide valuable match practice before the first Vitality County Championship fixture against Middlesex.
The game begins at 11 am on Sunday, 31st March at Sophia Gardens. The squad will be announced in the coming days.

Furry will be there
Have you noticed the heavy square-end bats they use these days, how I would have loved one in my younger days. Even thought of buying one for old times sake. Strange that, do others buy things as they age, as they could not have had one when a lad?
A man after my own heart, except I have gone reverse and sold all mine, much unused, including Centre Pins and Hardy rods, some still looking new after years of service. For sentimental reasons I kept two Avon split cane rods which I purchased while still at school, paying sixpence a week, funded by my Sat trade-bike veg delivery round which paid Five Shillings.
