Yep, I have fond memories of mine. I got one as Christmas pressie as a kid, still remember taking it out of the box and assembling it before arranging my LPs.

A very innovative piece of kit it was too … second only to the ronco bottle cutter :wink:

Sony still does proprietary technology despite what happened with Betamax. Guess if Apple can get away with it. . .

Betamax was a good system all apart from the video heads wearing out faster then VHS machines.
