Covid Fines Withdrawn or Repaid in NSW

The NSW government will withdraw more than 33,000 COVID-19 fines after a Supreme Court hearing today.

Earlier today, Justice Dina Yehia SC was set to hear arguments that two fines for between $1,000 and $3,000, did not meet the requirements of section 20 under the Fines Act.

The fines cancelled are about half of the 62,128 COVID-related infringements issued. Revenue NSW says that all sanctions on unpaid fines will now stop. They also said the remaining 29,017 fines would still be required to be paid

Within a matter of hours the government moved to withdraw more than half the infringements issued under NSW’s COVID-19 restrictions.

Let’s hope everyone who was fined or fired gets reinstated, compensated and their fines refunded.

Ok, fair enough, yes I would agree - especially with those who lost their jobs if they weren’t vaccinated. However…being worldwide, it would also need to include certain politicians who were fined for disregarding the rules, so…would you have their fines refunded too?

Even though the parliament went along with the stupid advise from SAGE they thought it was bollocks as well, thats why they broke the rules like we did. The people who should be in jail should be SAGE for being absolutely and totally wrong about everything in the pandemic and killing thousands of people, not just during the pandemic but the 13,000 excess deaths, each consequent year, the collateral damage to mental health, education, relationships and the removal of our human rights.

If the government had disagreed or ignored SAGE there would most likely have been riots, chaos and a complete melt down of society, with the COVID evangelists on one side and rest who thought it was bollocks on the other. I don’t think we would ever recover from that, never mind covid.

So I would refund everyone except the nutters in SAGE who lead the government by the nose-ring into an apocalypse of lies, deceit and derangement while never getting anything right, never made any apology and never listened to anyone else other than their own echo chamber of hard left socialists, following their ideological science and not data or facts.

Now here we are … with £1.3 billion of tax payers money allocated for vaccine damage payouts, a national debt increase of 500 billion, 30 billion wasted on stupid stunts like track and trace, the destruction of the health service, mental health and carers, with the murder of thousands of elderly care home residents, kids that were killed by their parents during the lockdowns, mental health problems now on a biblical scale with record suicides, domestic violence and drug/drink addiction problems to name just a few.

All because boggle eyed cretin Whitty, Communist supporting Valance (both off the GSK gravy train I might add) told us they knew what was best for us and they were “following the science”.

They weren’t -they lied and lied and lied while buddying up to their chums in the WEF and WHO… they joined in with the CCP’s apologists and it’s authoritarian sympathisers.

Blame them, they did this - they were wrong about everything. They lied and lied to us and we just shrug our shoulders and thank our lucky stars that for now, we can assemble with more than 5 other family members in our own homes.

These bastards need to be jailed and instead they just walk away and join their next socialist project on climate change and net zero.

Ok, I can see you are angry about this. But…given that parliament know nothing about science (thats why Chris Witty et all were employed), the govt made the rules then proceeded to break them.

The WEF & WHO are definitely suspect, I agree…but given it was an unprecedented situation at the time, they were all we had in a time of panic and fear. So they dished out the guidance, and advised the government, who then made the rules, which we all followed. The fact that the govt then dismissed their own rules (including Margaret Ferrier who travelled on public transport knowing she had Covid and clearly didn’t care) got fined (paltry amounts), and you say they should get them refunded.

Everyone has known people with Covid, or sadly lost people through Covid. I for one, cannot accept that anyone who dismissed the rules and got fined for it, should ever get refunded :woman_shrugging:

The covid rules would never have worked. We knew that before they were announced.

The government had no choice, they handed over all power to SAGE who abused it.

If the rules make sense we would have followed them strictly, there would be no need for fines. The fines were there to coerce us

Remember when I got banned (more than once) defending my opinion on the lockdowns and the horror that they would create of excess deaths.

OK, I used some particularly bad language during the course of those posts, but ultimately, I was right and now the MSM can’t ignore it and neither can SAGE.

SAGE was made up of (mainly) behavioural psychologists with no representation from virology or immunology. They said they were “following the science” and got every prediction wrong - by factors of 000’s. We should demand an explanation of what “the science” actually was that they were following because it had nothing to do with epidemiology and nothing to do with science. Covid-19 was predictable, it behaves exactly the same (in terms of spread) as every other flue virus. Not one pandemic plan the government has had has ever mentioned locking down the country. Why did they change that plan and follow the CCP ?

Where are the figures for lockdown+post lockdown mortalities vs no-lockdown mortalities ? If you use Sweden as an example, the figures are absolutely unbelievable.
