The first major leisure change for me was the start of the Airshow season 2020, because of the international attraction for folks, the fact that these take place in the open air but, requiring travel to and from, all were cancelled. This rolled over to 2021, but the latest disappointment, and the reason for thinking about this now is, most folks on here know that my favorite group is Genesis, and, for Fathers Day, I was presented with two tickets for their last ever tour, these were obviously purchased in June, just after the Vaccine panacea, so, wait and see attitude was adopted, I had a sneaky feeling that as autumn approached, the stats would show a deterioration in the figures, and this seems to be the case. My dilemma was, after taking avoiding actions for 18 months, should I compromise by attending a hall, filled to the 15000 capacity, unfortunately not.
Not all Covid considerations, are about daily functionality, the lasting memories will be about the extras, missed out on.
Spitty I hear they are not as good as they once where if that is any consolation??
