Counting down the days until I can have mine, 8 days to go.
So am I if they want to believe the witch doctor down the road that’s their problem .
How ever it’s not just the BAME bunch I have met three people now of my own generation ( old) who think it’s all a big conspiracy/ new world order / they are out to control us / it’s a manufactured virus etc etc and are refusing .
If I met one of these ‘anti-vaxxers’ I should ask them whether they would also refuse any treatment should they catch the Covid virus.
I’m sure their response would be that they’d demand treatment.
I’d then ask them how they feel about the denial of Covid treatment to anyone who refuses to have a vaccination.
I don’t know how they’d wriggle out of that, but I suspect that the immortal words ‘human rights’ would feature in their response.

They give these shortened names to all who are in these groups & I believe that it creates a more racist attitude! I seriously doubt that all people of any country or any religion think the same, so why attack all of them when it is just those who are so easily conned by something they read on the internet or are told by their leaders.:roll:
Coming from London originally, it was always obvious to me where the problem lies. My concern is not for them but the fact that new strains could develop amongst them which could then be passed onto the rest of us and so requiring more vaccines.
Certainly not in London.

Exactly! We need to build a big wall all around Londonistan to keep the problem contained.
Then Birmistan, Bradfordistan, etc, etc.
Doubt we will get jab before Easter, if then. If rules change those still waiting could have problems. The covid passport will discriminate against those whose age group has not been reached.
Yes , a practice nurse at my health centre told me some people are refusing it . Not BAME’s .Those eligible in fact .
Everyone has the right not to want “something “ put into their body,especially something rolled out in months what would normally take years .Thats not a conspiracy theory

Just read a sky news piece about two women in Florida pretending to be Grannies in order to get a jab! The worrying thing is that they have already had their first jab and nobody knows how or where they got it as they are too young yet to get one!

Ooh that would be a worry for me, if I was in the queue. But I daresay they are taking every precaution possible.

I was a passenger in a car, queses at the roundabout for the entrance, long queses of people waiting to get in, no social distancing and it was raining.
I cannot have my injection yet, I must wait for 28 days after last positive test.
Well I queued for mine and people were acting responsibly, standing a couple of yards apart from each other.
I think older people, in general, have rather better manners than some young ones, though.
Of course it was. they are trying to vaccinate as many people as possible.
You don’t need to have the vaccine at all Swim, having covid and recovering will provide you with all the tools your body and immune system needs to survive any further infections from Covid19…
