Yes, I must stop being so soft.
I’ll take a sick bucket with me.

Mum had the AZ vaccine unfortunately she was quite ill afterwards 3 days and vomiting diarrhoea and generally feeling awful however that’s probably because of all of the other medication she has to take as a diabetic dialysis patient with heart complaint.
My niece is 24 but she has had her vaccination. the reason why is that she is working as security at one of the vaccination centres in London and believe it or not some people just don’t bother turning up for their appointments.
at the end of the day staff said if anyone wants a vaccination just roll up your sleeve and you can have one.
I think if people don’t turn up and fail to give a reasonable explanation for it, they should be crossed off the list.
There are plenty of other people waiting for the jab.
I’m sorry to hear your Mum reacted badly to the AZ vaccine Cass, I hope she is feeling a lot better now…
Thanks Mags.
So far so good, but its early days yet.
I’ll see what tomorrow brings.
That’s good Mups, I hope it remains like that.
Which vaccine did you have?
The Oxford one, Mags.
That’s good to know More and more people are having that one now.
Sky news reports second doses of vaccine as just under 500,000
Is this true??
I can’t verify this but sky continue to show this at the top of the screen
when showing covid data ???
Donkeyman!
Prime Minister Scotty from Marketing says Australia has secured an extra 10 million doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, which is due to be rolled out at the end of the month.
The Federal Government had already purchased 10 million doses of the vaccine, which was approved for use by the Therapeutic Goods Administration last week.
People will need two doses of the vaccine, roughly two weeks apart.
Everybody to be vaccinated by October
To make sure as many people in Australia as possible are vaccinated, the Government will offer free access to the vaccine to any foreign nationals who are in the country on a visa.
“That means the Government will provide COVID-19 vaccinations free to all visa holders in Australia and this will include refugees, asylum seekers, temporary protection visa holders, and those on bridging visas,” Health Minister Hunt said.
“People currently residing in detention facilities will also be eligible, including those whose visas have been cancelled.”
The Government also announced $1.3 million in funding for multicultural bodies to make sure information on the vaccine rollout is delivered to culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
As well as Pfizer, the Government has secured nearly 54 million doses of the Oxford University/AstraZeneca vaccine, which is currently being considered by the TGA, and 51 million doses of the Novovax vaccine.
I wonder if the make of jab we have will become a status thing in the future?
How are you feeling today, Mups?
I got my phone call this morning. I was offered 3 time slots from which I chose 11:10 (5mins before V gets her jab). I is a happy bunny.
In the meantime, this was sent to me by a Scottish friend.
Hi
If you can have the vaccine as soon as possible.
A few days on a Covid Ward would encourage people to have it.
That’s brilliant Percy, I hope all goes well for you and your wife
MrM and I got our jabs this morning .
I think they should be given a thumping big fine , same goes for those who dont turn up for the second jab.
It wont do any good if we approach this vaccination half heartedly.
Thanks Mags , she is fine now and she is determined to have her second jab, she feels there is no point after going through the first to refuse the second one and maybe not be protected.
I had mine this morning, the Oxford one. Touch wood, everything’s fine except I seem to be sneezing a lot and my nose itches sommat rotten
I honestly never felt a thing and was gobsmacked she said ‘all done’…
