Thatās fortunate - if hospitalisations were proportionally significant relative to the massive increase in infections then the NHS would already be overwhelmed.
@ Omah, Are you trying to say that the rise in infections versus
the deaths means there is absolutely nothing to worry about
then Omah ??
Jesus ! Two years of world wide panic over another type of
common cold ?? LOL!!
Donkeyman!
Yes they do. We conduct far more tests than other countries. Many of those who tested positive probably didnāt realise they had covid. Hospitalisations and deaths show the effectiveness of vaccines and improved treatments. It shows the bigger picture.
We are also the most transparent in our reporting and have gone from the country with virtually zero vaccines and diagnostic capabilities to one of the highest (if not the highest) in Europe.
@Omah , āDeaths are down, so the virus is nothing to worry aboutā
But doesnāt that make sense to you Omah ?
As the statistics expert, can you tell me what the % rate of
deaths to infections is on a world wide scale ??
Donkeyman!
Iām not a statistics expert. Other FMs may consider themselves to be so and the morbid among them will, Iām sure, be happy to supply death rate figures ā¦
