Covid-19 Statistics

France and the UK have approximately the same population running about 67million each.

Yet the figures for new Covid cases and deaths are dramatically different. What is France doing differently that has lead to this difference? We don’t get many reports about France here, Denmark seems to be our Covid poster boy, so want is it that France doing so well that the UK is not emulating? It would be very interesting to know.

Wondered this a while ago. :biking_man:

It’s all down to a lack of coherent leadership.

Or, the unwillingness to follow guidance.

Without coherent leadership, guidance will be far too diffused for the knuckle scrapers amongst us to understand.

Therein lies the problem, which is easier to modify?

The trouble is with the knuckle scrapers, natural selection will always ensure they exist.

Yes, it is difficult, being dragged kicking and screaming into society.

No surprise there Spitty :wink::grin:

That’s all very well but what is France actually doing that the UK is not? or vice versa?

A question of leadership is a given but what has France done that has kept their numbers down? What has the UK done that has made it so bad? It is a behavioral thing I would have thought but what is the difference?

Less buckets of sand in France, maybe.

Far less soap used too!

There will be another lock-down on it’s way soon. The masses are simply not acting responsibly enough and the rot started from the top. Whatever happed from the old tradition of lead by example?

Won’t be my fault!!!

They all say that …twasn’t me guv, honest :whistle:

I know they do, good job I (and a few others) don’t, there would be chaos. :smiley:

In my Local shop, it feels like just me and the Lone Ranger, not a Boris in sight. :laughing: :biking_man:
