Covid-19 Statistics

The figures are high in Germany as well. 71,887 new cases and 415 deaths today.

France seemed to have overtaken us also scott.

Most folks have never cared about the stats, or, are ignorant to them.

Or just think that they are being manipulated for best effect @spitfire

These Stats are a bit different in that some people have expired as a result of them.

And in the UK.If you’ve had it for over 28 days it’s not counted as a covid death.

Whether the others do that I don’t know.

South Africa

  • 8,561 new cases and 28 new deaths

So AstraZeneca admit that there is a problem with the vaccines, and the problem with blood clots is not as rare as they thought. Every hospital in the UK is full to bursting with an unusual rise in patients with blood clots and heart conditions. The figures are wildly inaccurate and there are at least ten times the amount you have been told.
You won’t see that on the BBC.
I took a walk past our A&E last week and ambulances were queueing up with sick patients who had to be treated in the vehicles because A&E was full.

AZ is not used in Australia any more, initially its use was restricted to over 60s but it has been abandoned - all booster shots will be Pfizer

My province - Gauteng, is a hotspot

Our PM was telling everyone how wonderful AZ was and to get it now but had the Pfizer himself. So we waited for it too:)

That was a pretty brave thing to do in Melbourne.

Oxford will prevail. Just a bit of bad press to force the “New Technology”.

I dunno. Thanks to lockdowns and a curfew we had no recorded cases for quite some time.Scotty had more info on the vaccines than the rest of us and he picked Pfizer.Actions speak louder than words.

On that basis I think that, with Scotty’s record of picking winners, the safest course would have been to take anything but Pfizer.

I just noticed that our Canadian member is disappearing so I can add South Africa in place of Canada in the stats, will try it today perhaps? I am wary of adding too many places because then you might as well look at the source stats.
