Could have ended in loss

This morning, 8am at the cricket, I set my camera up on the tripod in the hopes a Galah and it’s chick would roost in one of the trees at feeding time.
I am sitting in my car, watching the cricket, waiting for the Galahs to appear, I would be ready.
8.30 I go to the shopping centre to buy a lotto ticket and place a couple of horse bets.
Back to the cricket, parking at a different spot.
3 hours later, I decided to go for a walk in the adjoining bushland. Looking for my camera, it suddenly dawns on me that I drove off, leaving my tripod mounted camera on the other side of the oval.
The first thought was, stupid me, second thought, camera will be gone. Thinking this time I will buy a video camera with attachments. Maybe $1000
I traipse over to where I set it up. lo and behold, the camera is still there.

That’s because it’s only us honest folk about early in the AM.
It all goes down hill after lunch.

The ne’er-do-wells do not rise until well after the midday sun.

I did fear the worse and was very surprised and happy when I saw the camera and tripod were where I left them.
