Cost of stairlifts in the UK?

I have been quoted £2,495 to have a Synergy fold up stair lift installed. I have 10 stair treads, plus the top landing, and it comes with a 5 year comprehensive warranty.

A rival mobility shop only offers 2 years but is cheaper.
Does this sound reasonable to you? Seat swivels round for safety of getting off.

We had a an Acorn fitted a few years back, 13 steps, straight for £2500, 3 year guarantee, now expired so yours sounds good deal. Do some research though

Thanks Vlad. There aren’t that many mobility shops here for more quotes but I think the 5 year warranty is a good deal. I might try another one on Monday.

Hi

Mine was fitted 3 days ago.

It was free, part of a system to keep people at home.
It is curved and has 2 remotes.

It is an Otolift modul- air, a Dutch company.

I did not choose it, it cost around £5k with fitting.

I think it pays to check over a wider area than just locally, prices do vary.

The shop being local would be handy for maintenance/servicing, rather than having to wait for someone further afield, but I get what you’re thinking.

Shops can come and go . You must be happy with the stairlift local or not.
