Corrie

Oh for the days when programmes were scheduled around Coronation Street …

one the bounce, what is that all about, thinks me is having trouble with my Stylus.

My quote (I think it should be ‘on the bounce’, referring to her recent break up with Tommy!) End my quote

Come to think of it, should it be ‘on the rebound’???

Silly arse, me.

Test - as in Driving Test? I thought he used to drive one of those Morris Minor Traveller thingys.

Yes, he took it Friday. Hayley drove the mini and Roy taking his driving test was one of her wishes. He kept refusing, saying he could always take the bus anywhere he wanted to go.

He was humming out loud before getting in the car to calm himself down! They weren’t giving anything away on Friday, just showed him reversing in the driving test centre carpark, and she (examiner) said a few words.

Well given he’s spotted the cat and she hadn’t, even though he was engaged in conversation with her and still did his emergency stop really well, I think it’s safe to assume he passed

I’m hoping that went in his favour.

Don’t forget it’s on tonight at 7pm

Is it?? Thanks for the reminder. I’ve got Birds of a Feather on.

Put it on to record, cos I’m busy cooking dinner anyways.

Oh dear poor Roy failed his driving test.

Grrrr I missed it, I didn’t realise it was on :frowning:

So he failed! He seemed to do well from the bit we saw. What did they fail him on?

Darn it, I’ve deleted it from the recording. Seem to remember going too slow and also I think lack of observation.

I think he actually exceeded speed limit, people are full of surprises.

Probably, couldn’t remember!

Something to do with reversing around a corner too I think.

Oh dear - he went from being more observant that than the instructor to being hopeless! Awww, poor Roy.

I could just imagine Roy pontificating to the examiner about some point or other, she finding any excuse to take him down a peg by failing him.

It’s strange how I can like Roy very much and would defend him much as Becky did but he irritates the life out of me!

Know what you mean BV, I often agree with his point of view but wouldn’t want him as my husband.

I think that is why he is such a good actor.

I have to say I am really really getting a bit fed up with Corrie and wonder how much longer I will feel this compulsion to watch even though it irritates me.The whole David/Nick/Kylie/Leanne thing has really gone off the rails and at the moment, apart from Roy and Hailey, the storylines leave me cold.
