Corrie

Or Hull Kingston Rovers? But, as this is about Corrie, I thought perhaps The Rovers Return would have been obvious.

Am I the only one who thought tonight’s ending was very touching? I don’t believe Roy has ever been seen shedding a tear before, and I must say I found it hard to stop myself doing the same. Yes, I’m a soppy old sod.

On a side note, The Three Degrees is one of my wife’s favourite groups. She had a few of their albums in the 70s.

I was teary eyed all through both episodes! This is going to be one difficult storyline for those of us who love Roy and Hayley.

Do you think Roy went out to phone Christian? Just a thought.

It was a very emotional episode for Roy and Hayley tonight and I think Roy was learning a lot from Hayley’s show of strength and determination.

It did go through my mind that Roy may find Christian for Hayley …I think that meeting is going to be very emotional too:-(

The choice of closing Karaoke song was a mick take.

When will I see you again.

That was the cause of Roy’s tears at the end … and the lump in my throat :frowning:

I too was very touched by Roy’s heartache. Dear Hayley is being strong whilst poor Roy is inwardly breaking his heart. I ended up in tears as well, and this won’t get any easier to watch as she deteriorates over the next few months or so. :frowning:

Poor Fiz, she’s trying to be brave!

Oh for goodness sake, I’m in tears now just thinking about it and reliving yesterday’s!!! :frowning:

Fiz and Tyrone understand Haley’s concern, their birthday gift adopting a bat and inviting them to be more involved with the children was a comfort to her, when the time comes Roy will need their support.

Missed last night, as I was out :frowning:

Oh gosh :frowning:

I like Roy and Hayley and have since they were introduced on the show but I have to say, I think it was very overdone to the point it became irritating to watch and sorry but that song at the end was the final straw - seriously over the top.

I do think the acting is very good but the writers need to ease up with constant references to Hayley’s demise which, in real life, I don’t think it would be mentioned by either of them every few minutes.

Also, no more Eastenders ex-cast - Stella is such a misery guts.

What about Jason and Eva? How on earth is that going to go down - one bloke dating both mother and daughter? Is there a female on the Street that Jason won’t go out with!

I reckon the writers are putting Eva with Jason so that Eva will stay in the street (that’s all I’m putting as don’t want to spoil anything for anyone).

Hmm, wouldn’t it have been better to put her with, erm, erm - is there another eligible chap on the Street?

It’s a bit yuk though isn’t it, I don’t think I would date someone my mum had dated

Why would anybody miss an episode? I don’t even have a telly but I still watch Corrie on my computer.

Did think of catching up on computer last night, but felt too tired to be bothered :frowning:
If I haven’t watched by Monday evening, I won’t get round to it.

There used to be programme on Sunday afternoons with all the weeks episodes in one go, but can’t see that anywhere now.

It’s repeated several times on itv2 and the compilation episode is on there too.

Just had a look the compilation starts at 10.30am, so grab a coffee and enjoy !

oh thanks Julie, my paper says starts 9.30am till 12 noon, so only need to watch the last hour.
Don’t find ITV player very good at times.

Sorry my mistake ITV2 plus 1 starts at 10.30am.
