Coronavirus

On our local BBC evening news last night, there was a report from a Birmingham Uni scientist (I think) that Covid19 is mutating and losing its dangerousness insofar as hospital admissions and death rates are concerned. However, he thought that its infectiousness was becoming more and more potent.

Hi

In hospital we were checked, staff wore masks but patients did not on the wards.

On discharge we were warned about infectious it has become and how it remains dangerous with those with medical conditions.

We were also told masks are important to stop you spreading it, but to avoid catching it gloves and hand washing are the most important.

Something similar was reported in Victoria to the point of saying that we are dealing with two pandemics because the original strain has not gone away.

I have been reading about the 1918 pandemic.

Apparently it lasted for two years with four or five waves during that time (depending on where you were).

If we don’t get a vaccine I guess that is what we have to look forward to. Can you cope with that prospect? I find it rather daunting.

Have some people risen from the dead?

The deaths in the UK for Monday 10th August was 46,574
But the deaths in the UK for Tuesday 11th August is 46,526…?

hahaha, oh Foxy that made me laugh out loud

Laughter is the best medicine Lion Queen…

Well spotted OGF, we will make an Auditor out of you yet.

:023:…I also think that because we are doing more tests there are bound to be more infections found…so it appears that the virus is increasing…
Due to the previous ratio of deaths to infections, I believe that there were many more people infected that we at first thought. I also still believe that herd immunity will eventually see off the virus…It usually does…

I noticed that too Bob!

It’s a miracle! UK deaths are down by 5000, the zombie apocalypse has arrived. They must be using the same accounting method that arrived at the 350 million a week for the NHS.

Yes, the 350 million just came at the right time to help the NHS with this covid thing Bruce…:023:

Hi

We have now added France to our Quarantine list.

France is threatening retaliation.

Hi

The Red Bus and £350 million a week.

The biggest lie since Blair and Iraq,

Interesting news today

The New Zealand Prime Minister, the lovely Jacinda Ardern says evidence points to coronavirus being reintroduced into New Zealand recently rather than the virus remaining “dormant” in the country.

Currently there are 36 active cases in the country after over 100 days without any cases.
