what about the DNA test Jim said he’d had Susie?..
Probably not worth the paper it’s written on. Far more accurate if Liz were to conduct her own test, with something knowingly taken from the girl, and her own contribution. A proper saliva sample, or a strand of hair, or whatever. If the girl refuses…then we know.
And Jim’s complicit, so he is.
I agree Susie. I reckon he’s up to no good again.
Looks like you were right Susie…
Is Corrie short of inventive storylines?
We’ve got Tyrone going in to his past family, and now Liz going into hers too.
Both at the same time as well !
I have always found Jim Macdonald an irritating man.
He certainly is irritating, so he is.
OMG I hate this storyline.
The girl is Jims lover - UNBELIEVABLE!!
Liz had a premature baby girl years back. Remember she was distraught when thieves stole silver picture frame.
Guess they forgot she died.
And nobody seems to be interested in finding out who the baby is that is buried
This is the most stupid storyline they’ve had for a long time IMO.
The truth will out, now the social media has been deployed.
You’re right Mups, last nights episode was more like a poorly acted sitcom, especially the bit in Dev’s shop… I’ve always been loyal to Coronation Street through the good times and the bad, but this storyline is just rubbish and I don’t think I can take anymore…How can Tyrone and Fizz be so gullible? Who would possibly allow some random woman to live in their house with two young children. I’d want a helluva lot more proof that I was related…
And what’s Liz doing giving Hanah (her supposed Daughter)a key to the house? They all want their bloody heads banging together…The script writers too…
The script writers should have a storyline where a cobble street socialist wins the Lottery, and gradually becomes a scumbag capitalist, snubbing all the folks who had previously given support, when their moral fabric was at it’s lowest, the scenes can pan between the street, and a bloody big mansion in the Cheshire countryside.
I’m going off Corrie big time. The story lines get more & more unbelievable - I feel sorry for the actors really!
The people who churn it out have no respect for the viewers. They change the times it’s on so we sometimes miss an episode. it makes me wonder if they’re wanting to run it down? I think they’re succeeding.
and a bloody big mansion in the Cheshire countryside
wot like twinkletoes place?? - oh yes capitalist p…n
I agree Carol. I’ve not watched last night’s, as was on the phone, but do agree with ludicrous storylines and acting. And plots that go on forever.
The voices of Leanne and Fiz are beginning to grate on me. Leanne just shouts at everybody, and talks fast and loud, and Fiz is whining.
I haven’t heard one single person enjoying the current stories going on.
I wonder if they have got a different script writer lately, it is all so daft.
I agree. There’s ‘artistic licence’ and there’s ‘just getting a bit silly now’.
Actually, most of the time it is standard 1930 and 2030 Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
When they do change from that routine it’s usually to do with football, but then football changes everything for some reason.
