Mups what you are seeing is a resurgence of excitement and pleasure and joy from people who want to celebrate their coming out of gayism - but it will finally calm down because the truth of the matter [and I don’t hold this against them] is that they are in the minority and will IMO and maybe the opinion of biology always be so - this is just their settling in period!!
Script writers, directors, producers. These are the people who determine characters’ foibles and how they behave.
I’d suggest that the majority of the above professionals are all of a particular predilection and would very much like to encourage more people to their particular way of thinking!
