Coronation Street

They’re not getting married. They are pretending to be married for the purposes of winning a competition!

But Mary proposed to him last week JBR, and he accepted.

I don’t know. Did they do that in order to persuade people to believe them?

If they do, I think they’d make an excellent replacement for Hilda and Stan Ogden: the humorous couple of The Street.

So it was all done off camera then? How annoying: the writers missed the chance of some comical scenes, there.

Not done off camera, they so liked the piccies they were taking of pretend wedding, etc. that Mary went down on one knee to propose and was accepted. As you say, brilliant comic duo

Yes, you’re right, Franbern. I saw it, too.

I must have missed that.

They do make a lovely couple - for potential story lines!

But we still didn’t see them announce it to their friends! That is what we are querying.

I agree Jazzi.

Getting fed up with Gemma now. She was a novelty in the beginning but it’s when she talks with her mouthful that I want to switch off.

And, Mary? Not keeping her mouth shut? Tut tut.

That Gemma is so common and as you said shouting about with her mouth full of food, just disgusting.

Poor girl. She can’t help how she was programmed by the script writers.

I don’t rate the latest storyline with Michelle & her ex lover Will.

Suddenly they’ve turned him into a crazy person - spiking her drink and locking her in a car boot!!

I’m asking myself why?

Will seemed a nice guy before, apart from cheating on his fiancee. All that drama to give Robert an excuse to beat up his drug dealer and Michelle loves Robert even more for doing that! Yet she couldn’t forgive Steve for cheating with Leanne and has fleeced him and Liz out of the pub.

Never have liked Michelle, I wouldn’t touch her with a Barge Pole. Or Erica, I hope that’s the last we see of here. I see Phelan’s up to his old tricks, stirring it up between Gary and Sarah. I thought he had seen the light now he’s found out he’s a Dad. I still have a soft spot for Tracey, at least you know where you are with her…And she comes out with some stuff!..

I’ll never use a solicitor again if Adam and Todd are anything to go by……They are about as honest as Ronnie Biggs, and twice as dangerous. And if they show Todd and Billy in the clinches one more time I’ll run away to join the Clergy!..What’s the world coming to…:-(:-(:frowning:

Me too. That particular ‘relationship’ is becoming quite boring now.

I think they’ve made their point by now and converted us all to homosexuality, which is what I suspect their intention was.

Will the fake wedding go ahead or will the nuptials be nobbled.

Now that amuses me foxy.
I don’t like or trust Adam as you say, but how come Todd is suddenly knowledgeable enough to work in a solicitor’s?

I wondered how he ever got the job in the flower shop, but this is even more ridiculous.

That’s the trouble with Soaps, they allow favourable personas an easy journey to a moral acquittal.

Bit like Forums.
