Just what I thought Susie, It wouldn’t take much to tip him over the edge. He is a loose cannon and has let his temper get the better of him in the past. And just wait while Phelan does a runner with everyone’s hard earned brass, there are going to be some pretty pi**ed off folk on the cobbles.
Perhaps he already has: we haven’t seen him for a while.
I think that’s the good thing about Corrie: although there are some slow episodes, the writers come up with some serious and exciting events but also bring in humour from time to time to maintain some sort of balance.
Interesting characters too… well, most of them. I’m afraid they have been a bit too PC in their choices lately.
Phelan realises his ‘love’ for Eileen is real, retrieves all the stash and repays it all.
He gallops back on his white charger which slips on the cobbles sending them cartwheeling.
Meanwhile David exits his house when the horse falls on him.
His head is well and truly stuck up the horses ass.
The vicar and Phelan struggle to part them, phelan with the horses head in his hands, the vicar stood behind David with his arms around his waist…both pulling and pushing.
Shaun, on the cream cake run sees this and duly faints.
