Coronation Street

Job well done I say, Carol! What a horrible man, excellent acting by him though. I’ve been waiting for ages for him to get his comeuppance as it seemed that storyline was going on for months and months.

Did Yasmeen push the broken bottle into his neck after she hit him on the head with it?

Yes, she did indeed and hopefully severed his windpipe. I’d love to watch him choking on his own blood.

Am I nasty?

No more nasty than I am where he is concerned

Yes it’s been brilliant acting from both of them.

I’d be very surprised if this storyline & these actors, didn’t get a nomination in the British Soap Awards.

Mrs Fox couldn’t watch it and had to leave the room…

She had the pots to wash, Ironing to do and sweep the drive before it got dark…She can be such a lazy girl if I don’t prompt her…:075:

I agree Carol, they both deserve recognition.

I agree also.
This has been a good storyline for a change, and we certainly needed one.
I imagine quite a few women could identify with the dreadful bullying. He completely brainwashed Yasmin into thinking she was worth nothing. Bet the little weasel’s not dead though.

As others have said, good and believable acting by both of them. :023:

:023:

I let Marge watch it. I’m kind like that.

If not, there’ll still be the Devil to pay.

Remember, all of that would have been recorded on his hidden CCTV camera.

Oh yes, I forgot about that. But no one knows about the camera, so how would the police be able to see what happened? Where is it hidden anyway, I can’t remember?

If film can be found, it should show him going at her with that knife in his hand.

I can’t imagine a camera could have been hidden that long in the lounge without it been discovered before now…:009:

It would have been found instantly in our house because Mrs Fox goes around dusting every day and everything gets moved…Including me and Maddie the cat…There is no hiding place!

When all is lost & poor Yasmeen is facing jail I bet the hidden camera will turn up then & save her.

You can just see it happening can’t you?

Yes, but … why hadn’t Yazz found it before while manically cleaning and dusting what must be the cleanest house on Corrie St.? Did she not dust and clean around the TV?

Coronavirus.

ITV statement," will use the soaps to remind people of important public health issues".

Will there be a future storyline about this?..If it reinforces the need for scrupulous personal hygiene and stringent social distancing it might be considered.

I have been expecting this Cinders, but I do hope not.
I have had more than enough of being brainwashed with it already, without it taking over my half hour of enjoyment and esacpism as well!
I won’t watch it if they do.

The camera wasn’t near the TV. I think it was up on the wall -It may have been hidden in a vent or some hard to spot place. I believe they are very small so this is possible.

When the Weatherfield Police turn up, I’m sure that one of the things they’ll have a look at is the mobile phone on which they are bound to see the video recordings.

Finding the camera itself, then, is probably unimportant.

Spoiler alert!!!

We won’t get to see the end of Yazz’s problems until later on because recording stopped before these were filmed.

Yes indeed. We knew this was coming, and that is why the two half-hour episodes per day were reduced to one some time ago.

I have no idea when they intend to start filming again, sadly.

The police might take his phone and laptop away and find the evidence there.

Yes I almost cheered when she struck him a second time. Surely he would fatally bleed out from the neck, unless tonight she makes an effort to save him. Agree, the writers might do a twist and have him surviving and then playing the innocent victim again.
