Common things you’ve never done

What ya tranna say, ya cheeky monkey :075::071:

Nothing special except I have seen a few people freak out on a few drags of marijuana while most others had a good time. And then there is also the individuals body chemistry. Kinda like a peanut butter allergy. Most people… no problem. Some people, rare ones… a huge problem.

I have never been abroad or flown in a plane…

What a shame ,do you regret it ?
Mind you the way things are going you couldn"t even if you wanted .LOL

No not really apricot, not a sun lover, can’t abide lounging by a pool or on a beach, there’s the culture I know but I’ve heard that if you go in the off season, everything is closed anyway, but I’m probably wrong about that…

Common things, a village green used to be special, now it isn’t, the common is still special, it is untouched by commoners.:-)

I don"t know about things being closed ,cannot comment .Don"t go for the culture TBH .

We just love to fly & flop .
Each to their own .

Anyway ,we are popping off to Norfolk , just for a break as hot weather holidays seem out of the question

Going in the off-season is precisely when to go. I have had some truly fabulous trips abroad in the off-season. One great example: my trip to Egypt was in March and not only did I avoid all the crowds, but my hotels and side-trips cost 1/3 of what they normally do. However, I never book any tours. I always travel as an individual and that allows me to do whatever I choose, on the spur of the moment.
I get a laugh at those tour groups who are lead around by the nose like sheep in a flock. :-p

Yes well Sydneysiders and particularly the beachies and surfers tend to be pretty tribal. I spent most of my life living on the Northern Beaches. And that’s where I stayed. It’s considered treason to surf on the South Side. Tourists are tolerated but not “Northerners” It’s the same on the West Coast. I lived in Perth north of Fremantle when I was a teenager and never surfed the south beaches. I have also never been to Africa. Talk me into it.

Blimey, there is a lot to contemplate in that post.

Hi, it’s not too late

South Africa has world class rugby
You have not lived until you’ve seen an African sunset.
Besides the crime we have the Big Five predators.
South Africans are very hospitable people
You need to experience a Safari

So Bondi Beach is not on the menu then

Never cooked food in a microwave, or used a dishwasher…
But I have walked naked on a beach…

I have never seen an episode of The Simpsons, Home and Away or Neighbours. Does that count?

FGS go out an rectify this you have missed out on some good experiences do it while there is still time .

I have but I made sure it was a Sunday when 300 little kiddies went into the sea before me .
There’s great whites out there …

I’ve never cooked food in a microwave either but I have reheated stuff in one. I’m the designated dishwasher in this household - always have been, always will be. I’ve walked naked in a forest but only sunbathed in the altogether on the beach.

Neither have I.

I enjoy a quality meal as much as the next person, but I also enjoy eating foods from the stands at a county fair.
For those who have never done so, may I respectfully suggest you do so at your earliest opportunity.
Do they have chili dogs in the U.K. ?
If so, you can be a kid again if only for a little while.

I have never been clubbing
