Where did they actually say "Watch in full", Azz? The title says: “Watch angry exchange between…” and at 00:02 a line specified: “Watch moment Zelensky…”.
Fair criticism of the beeb. They get a lot wrong (such as the over-willingness to get Farage on the telly). But my question would be which news channel do you trust more?
Here my descending order of trust for news:
Channel 4
Reuters
France 24
Sky News (since Murdoch left the building)
ITN
Al-Jazeera
CNN
BBC
Below the “acceptable” line is GB News (not really a news channel), any social media source (too many idiots, agents with agendas and nutters), RT News (if I want Putin’s opinion I will just watch an interview with him), any other US “news” channel (Fox News call themselves an entertainment channel, says it all).
I watched it all last night and it was broadcast on BBC.
I don’t think they cut out any of it - I have found most of the BBC broadcast on you tube - I don’t think any of the the run up to the argument has been cut out
Yeah I replaced my bookmark to BBC with it to CH4 a while ago, however CH4 does not have as many news stories so from time to time I go on the BBC site (but nowhere near like I did).
Al-Jazeera are actually very factual too believe it or not.
I haven’t seen that but the clip in the article I posted was edited to make Zelensky look bad, very dishonest and something the BBC seem to be doing more of.
After watching the entire video I think Trump wasn’t doing too badly as far as Trump goes (so his typical nonsense) but it was actually JD Vance who decided to take things in a hostile direction - what a nasty piece of poo that guy is.
Azz, I am really glad your posted the entire 50 minutes.
Sadly, we all need to consider all news with a more critical eye and ear these days.
You all might find this helpful when considering U.S. news sources. I don’t agree with the findings, but it might help you all understand what a very limited stream of information you are getting about the U.S.
