Amazing what asking around about PIP does - the number of people waiting for an Assessment is something like half a million so, apparently, I’ll have a 7 - 9 month wait if it’s decided that I need to see an ATOS - ahem - “health professional” but it seems that a company called Maximus is taking over.
Maximus are described by John Pring of the Disability News Service as a 'company with a “chilling” record of incompetence, discrimination and alleged fraud so that’s about par for the course for the Caring, compassionate Coalition innit?! :roll:…soon be May eh? stevmk2
