I hope the local plod investigate this it appalling the way this man is targeted
The consensus seems to be it was the Hooray Henry’s.
I suspect it was annoyed that someone should challenge the land owning rights of our anachronistic monarchy which should of course be preserved for an elitist groups of hunters and shooters .
I didnt know he was such an activist Muddy…he made some good points about his life possibly being in danger…honestly who are these people who do these things and try to intimidate by fear?
They are people who think they have god given right to intimidate probaby privileged hooray harries who have yet to earn their own crust .

That really is disgusting behaviour, and very sinister because it seems to have been well planned and pre meditated
I hope the police make a determined effort to get to the bottom of it and don’t just let it slip
Online trolls are one thing but this is physical violence and intimidation and they should throw the book at them

That poor man, Chris Packham. Who has he ever hurt, ey?
This is all because he defends our wildlife and loathes the shooting and hunting brigade, and their hateful bloodlust as a poor excuse for ‘sport.’
From what i have read, this is just the latest in a whole string of vile incidents, including parcels of excrement, dead Crows and Badgers left at his gate - or tied to it - and even death threats, just because he started a legal challenge to try and stop the shooting of so-called “pest” birds!
He is understandably worried for the safety of his family and his pet dogs, who he loves dearly.
In the report i saw, he said:
" If these people are prepared to burn something, are they prepared to hurt my friends and family? That is the next question."
- Just as a little extra note, a friend of mine also opposes the hunting knobs, and last year after ’ having words’, by strange coincidence a load of rather nasty roofing felt tacks happened to appear spread across her driveway in the morning, right where her tyres would go, and where her dogs often walk.
Scum these people are, cowardly scumbags.
